Due to changes in his current family's living situation, this senior guy is in search of a fresh start with someone who can give him all the attention and comfort he deserves. 

Max is a lovable, house-trained, experienced soul who enjoys walks with his person, rides in the car, playing with his toys and person, and laying on someone's lap.  He is not a fan of cats, and while he can be eased into relationships with other dogs outside of the home, slow and steady with the picture as proof <3 , he can be a bit of a grumpy old man on first introductions.  Max would do best in a home where he is not crated and doesn't have to share his people's attention with another pet. He has lived with children, though as a senior it would be best if they have experience living with a dog.

Max would like a home where someone is around more often than not and where he has his own comfy bed, though he is not against snuggling up with his people.

Max has a skin allergy that is well-maintained with a specific diet.
